The 6th edition of the Omnicane Southern Tropical Challenge takes place from 27 to 30 November. 85 teams of 2 riders have signed up this year.
Over the next 4 days, riders will have to negotiate the 250 km of exciting off road terrain : coastal areas, sugar cane fields, mountains and indigenous forests with a daily difference in altitude of +/- 2000 m.
Oazure Villa Mauritius is a partner in this event and has sent a team of 2 riders : Augustin de Seze and Guillaume de Bricourt
Their aim is - above all - to finish the strenuous contest, with the objective to come last ... after all, there is always more talk about the last team to finish than the team that came 4th ....
We will keep you updated on a daily basis, not about the overall standings in the race - as the aim of our team is to come last - but to report that they have crossed the finishing line after another day of gruelling exercise.
