Chazal, located in the South of Mauritius, offers a wide range of activities, from activities to ecotourism.
The main attraction of the site is the zip lining. Combining an exhilarating activity with ecotourism, it allows you to enjoy the adrenaline kick of the zip line course whilst admiring the environment, landscape, flora and fauna.
The course is a series of zip lines that will fly over the Galette river, the largest river in the south of Mauritius. The shortest distance of the zip lines is 60 meters while the longest ones take you 250 meters across the river gorge. The height varies from 10 to 40 meters!
The zip line course is offered to groups of up to 15 persons, accompanied by one or two guides. The duration is 2 to 3 hours, depending on the time spent swimming in the natural pool under the water fall, which is the usual break halfway through the course.
New addition the the usual route, is proposed the option to add another 1.5km to the outing and continue with a walk, swim, slides, jumps and canyoning down the river’s gorge! After all this exercise, the adventure ends with a Mauritian meal served at the Chazal guest house.
