From 29th of August to 1st of September 2019, one leg of the Hydrofoil World Cup will be held at Pointe d'Esny in Mauitius. Hydrofoils are kite surf boards equipped with foils.
A week after the San Francisco leg, Mauritius will host one of the rounds of this year's world cup. In the space of a week, the participants of this World Cup will have to adapt from cold waters with a lot of waves to very quiet warm water conditions.
As on the previous rounds of this world cup, the Frenchmen Theo de Ramecourt, Axel Mazela and Nicolas Parlier will try to climb onto the 3 steps of the podium, but you cannot rule out that local hero and African Champion 2019 as well as Island Champion 2019, Jean de Falbaire, will be a serious contender, especially as he will be supported by the whole country ....
