Pieter Both is the second highest and most difficult summit on the island. The mountain is famous for the ball shaped rock standing on its top. Your climbing efforts will be rewarded with a 360° view of Mauritius and the northern islands. The way down may be either by 2 rappels of 70 meters each or by returning the same way you came up. If you manage to get on top of the ball shaped rock, your only way down is by doing the rappels. This climb is difficult and technical, minimum age is 10 years old.
