This menu offers you the chance to sample traditional Mauritian dishes, such as eggplant fritters, gato pima (chickpea fritters with chili) and samoussas. The main course, a fish court-bouillon accompanied by achard and coco chatini, and for dessert, fruit salad or Flan au Coco, this menu will transport you to the heart of local cuisine.
Menu 2: A Balanced Feast - Rs 1,800/pers (abt. 36 €)
This balanced menu harmoniously blends the flavors of chicken, shrimp, coconut milk and black lentils, served with white rice, achard and cucumber salad. Then a dessert of vanilla ice cream and guava jelly. An experience that combines taste and balance.
Menu 3: A culinary journey- Rs 2,100/pers (abt. 42 €)
This menu takes you on a culinary journey that includes emblematic island dishes such as grilled saltfish chatini, black lentil achard and white rice. You'll also have the option of sampling tamarind juice, a local specialty. Finish sweetly with a tempting dessert, featuring vanilla ice cream and guava jelly, or tamarind jam.
All meals are prepared with fresh, local ingredients, and lunch is served at Roselyne Gautier's home in La Gaulette or Rivière Noire (guests can choose).
