All of the Mauritian bungalows at La Pirogue have direct ground-floor access to the lush coconut grove, facing one of the most beautiful of Mauritius’ blue lagoons.
All the bungalows have their own private, comfortably furnished rooms and a terrace looking out into the majestic coconut grove that stretches as far as the white sands of the beach.
The rooms have individual air-conditioning and are furnished with a double or two single beds, according to your wishes.
The bungalows are equipped with ample storage and a bathroom with separate bath, shower and WC, hairdryer, 110/220V shaver socket, telephone with direct international dialing and tea and coffee making facilities, mini-bar, a room safe as well as an LCD television with international satellite channels, teletext information and a cartoon channel for children. The Superior Rooms are more spacious (35 sqm) and closer to the sea and guests can enjoy 24 hour room service.

The two La Pirogue Suites: “Flamboyant” and “Bougainvillaea”, provide accommodation for two adults, these magnificent 78 square metre Suites open onto the coconut grove.
Each of the Suites has a private terrace and garden allowing guests to admire the beautiful landscaped grounds and enjoy the magnificent West Coast sunsets. The spacious living room and dining area lead onto a separate bedroom with en-suite bathroom which has a shower and Jacuzzi tub.
The best of international and Mauritian cuisine take pride of place in its restaurants thanks to exciting and varied menus that can be savored in the main restaurant, next to the pool or even on the beach.
"Thatches" is the main restaurant at the 4 star hotel La Pirogue in Mauritius. The restaurant’s tropical style is in harmony with the hotel’s traditional Mauritian theme.
Thatches welcomes guests daily from 7:30am to 10:30am to start the day with a hearty breakfast.
Dinner is served from 7:30pm until 10pm in a ‘world cuisine’ atmosphere with Asian, Indian and Mediterranean accents around the central ingredients of traditional Mauritian cuisine.
"Paul & Virginie", beachside a la carte Mauritian restaurant
The restaurant has gorgeous views of the lagoon and the majestic Le Morne Mountain. Tables are arranged under little cabanas dotted around the pool with panoramic views.
The restaurant has a rustic charm and is open every day for lunch from 12:30 until 2:30pm where you will be able to try tasty Mauritian cuisine and local specialities.
Served from 7:30pm until 10pm, the dinner menu is more sophisticated; where freshly caught fish and seafood are the shining stars.
"Tides", fine beachside dining - international cuisine
The "Tides" dinner menu is deliciously innovative, sophisticated and surprising.
For lunch, "Tides" proposes a light menu that you can savour next to the pool. A trolley bar allows for lunches on your sun lounge for comfort and privacy.
Tides restaurant opens for lunch from 12:30 until 3pm and for dinner from 7pm until 10pm, with space for a hundred diners.
"Citronella’s Café", seafacing Italian restaurant
The restaurant serves lunch daily from 12:30 until 3pm. The decoration is reminiscent of an Italian market place and the menu includes light lunches, wood-fired pizzas and a variety of unusual salads.
Citronella’s Café is open for dinner from 7:30pm until 10pm. The menu offers dishes that are full of character, authentic cuisine inspired by traditional regional Italian recipes.
Furthermore, 3 bars are available for refreshments and drinks.
Every evening, you are invited to dance as La Pirogue swings into life to the rhythm of its in-house orchestra. The extensive events calendar ensures that different shows are put on several times a week for the entertainment of the guests.
The "Aura" Spa
Treatments are given in a calm and luxurious environment; the spa has fantastically appointed cabins for individual private treatments or as a couple, plus an exclusive Hammam and a dedicated Shiatsu treatment room.

Open 12 hours a day, the Sun Kids’ Club welcomes children from 2 to 11 years in a safe and fun environment. Activities are also available for teenagers aged between 12 and 17 years. The Kids’ Club is staffed by qualified and experienced team members who are on hand to listen to your child’s needs.
