The Maison d'Eté is THE address on the East coast for delicious food, created by Chef Ravin Dhauro. The restaurant will quickly become your favourite address for feasts as well as snacks. Ravin's creations include fresh seafood as well as produce from the land, prepared either European style or with a Mauritian twist. The Sunday buffet is an absolute "must" and is very popular with hotel guests and residents alike.
Here are some samples from the menu, just to whet your appetite : Tuna carpaccio with lime zest and ginger, Dorade tartare with vanilla and pink peppercorns, octopus salad with passion fruit vinegrette and palm hearts ..... we leave it up to you to discover the rest of the menu.
The restaurant offers 65 seats outside and 25 seats inside.
The Lounge Bar: the shaded, cozy and intimate setting of the bar is the perfect place to enjoy classic and Mauritian cocktails such as Cottage, Bel Ombre, Pomponette or bamboo Fizz . Snacks will be served at discretion.
